About me.
I’m just a 61 year old grandmother (nana) from Texas who thinks my grief journey is interesting, or maybe normal (or crazy to say the least). Thinking if I share my story it may help someone out there new on this ever so invasive journey.
I have 5 biological children and 7 grandchildren (plus my husband’s children and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren). I’ve been married 3 times, gave up one child for adoption of said 5 biological children (we had an open adoption). I’ve lived in the same town since 1972, had a crazy childhood, never aspired to be anything but a mother to a small family, worked many secretarial jobs and even worked as a paraprofessional in the school district my kids attended.
